DTV Partners was born out of a realization that the world had changed, but home building hadn’t. The Great Recession had knocked the wind out of most builders, but they still kept building the same way they had for the last century, only bigger! Both of us struggled to find the right homes for our budgets and decided Atlanta deserved a better option.
Brad Raber founded DTV Partners in the midst of a housing market that appeared to have left any semblance of affordability far behind. As a Market Analyst with the world’s largest commercial real estate data provider, the CoStar Group, Mr. Raber saw that housing construction had plummeted from historical averages following the Great Recession, with the huge drop in skilled labor the largest driver.
Brad Raber has worked for large commercial developers and small residential asset owners and everything in between. After his attaining MBA, Mr. Raber worked with Trammell Crow Residential, Caves Valley Partners on large institutional multifamily asset development in core markets.
Before jumping over to the owner/developer side, Mr. Raber was an engineer involved with large-scale commercial projects like the new International Terminal at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Mr. Raber also managed complex construction projects including high-end science lab space and cutting-edge data center work.
Brad Raber is proud graduate of both the Georgia Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science from the College of Architecture, and the University of Virginia, where he earned his MBA and met co-founder Gen Izutsu.
Brad is happily married to his gorgeous wife Lauren, a real estate attorney. They live with their three dogs in Sandy Springs.’

Gen is recently engaged to an amazing woman and lives in Atlanta’s Edgewood neighborhood with a menagerie of house plants.
